IRON HARVEST is a real-time strategy game by independent game developer King Art Games. The game is set in a board game called Sickle Wars, and when it was announced, it dazzled many players with its distinctive worldview: an empty world born out of the context of World War I. Here, countries all over the world have tilted the tree of science and technology. Tanks, artillery and armoured vehicles have abandoned the set of tracks and put on long legs. Thus, in the 1920s, the European countries for resources, wealth and glory, drove the steel monster to compete, where human beings paid special attention to steel, engine and heavy industry technology, and developed a variety of powerful mechanical weapons.



The game presents us with a world War I aesthetic combined with a rugged mecha-painting style -- the rich flavour of dieselpunk. The game's mecha design is based on the famous Polish illustrator Yakubu Rozarsky, who worked on the War of the Sickle. Different from the mechatronic designs in ordinary science fiction creations, we can see the strong contrast between the nearby pastoral scenery and the distant mechanical behemoth in this big touch's pen. The collision between agricultural civilization and industrial machinery technology brings a strong visual impact. As one of the biggest highlights of the game, the artistic style of the game complacent to a lot of praise.
